I call ’em “sunnies” sometimes.
I believe that sunglasses are the ‘creme de la creme’ to an outfit.
They add so much definition + class to even the simplest of outfits!

I’ll list a designer + an affordable option for your convenience!

OVERSIZED SUNGLASSES
Oversized sunnies are amazing! They make a simple look turn into a sophisticated and badass moment.
Here are some of my favorites:
DESIGNER OPTION:
+ PRADA MONOCHROME SUNGLASSES:
Leave it to Prada to make the best sunglasses in the GAME. These are my fave black monochrome oversized sunglasses because. The thick frames bolden my features and really stand out. Plus, the huge PRADA logo on the sides are a game changer, don’t ya think? Here is the tortoise frame pair from Prada (these are super cute!)
Tortoise frame sunglasses, oversized or not, are on TREND this year. They’re everywhere.
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
+ TAOTAQQU VINTAGE OVERSIZED SUNGLASSES:
Everyone I run into has been saying they’ve been getting their sunglasses from Amazon. This one lady told me that she ends up losing all her designer sunglasses in less than a month (yeesh) so she buys her everyday sunnies from Amazon. I seriously thought that hers were designer at first! These ones are the perfect dupes for the Prada ones I mentioned above! They come in 2, black + tortoise frames as well! You also have the option of snow leopard + white!!
CATEYE SUNGLASSES
Cat-eye sunglasses make a look instantly elegant + dainty. They add that similar flare that winged eyeliner does, without the struggle of putting it on.

+ SAINT LAURENT LILY CAT-EYE SUNGLASSES:
YSL creates the purrfect (yes, I did that) pair of cat-eye sunnies, justly displaying their name and logo on the sides. These Italian made sunglasses are simple, elegant, and go with any look you go for!
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
+ YOSHYA RETRO CAT-EYE SUNGLASSES:
I picked these affordable pairs of cat-eye sunglasses because they make the best dupe for the YSL cat-eye pair I mentioned above. They even come in all sorts of prints and colors: black (most popular), tortoise shell, crystal blue, and bright red, just to name a few.
RECTANGULAR SUNGLASSES
DESIGNER OPTION:
Rectangular sunglasses give off a great edgy look to any outfit you decide to rock. They’re also super fun to style! The yellow lens offer a great pop of color and the tortoise shell is going to be such a huge trend this year. Plus, you get 10% off once you subscribe to their website! Deal!
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
+ DOLLGER RECTANGLE SUNGLASSES:
These pair of sunglasses are ALL. THE. RAGE. Everywhere I go, I see women sporting these sunnies. After finally gathering the courage of asking where these beauties were from, I found out these girls were scoring big from Amazon. Amazon! For less than 20 bucks!! Super gorgeous & super quality, these sunglasses are the perfect replacement for some more expensive sunnies when you can’t invest in something more expensive.
TINTED SUNGLASSES
Tinted sunglasses are so much fun to add on to your outfit. You have the fun freedom to play around with any colors you want to add that color burst into your look.
DESIGNER OPTION:
Celine has been a stunning brand that I’ve recently been obsessed with; and these sunnies are stunning. Think, pink lemonade by the beach. Soft + alluring, these sunglasses look amazing 365 days of the year, but these might create some feminine fire during spring and summer seasons. Great for traveling, while making a statement. Uh, add to my cart much??
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
Now, if you thought the Celine glasses were a necessity (and, who can blame you) but you don’t have the cash to splurge right now (I feel ya) I found SUCH A SIMILAR DUPE FOR ONLY $13.99. Thank me later. Plus, and here’s the best part, they come in multiple different colored lenses. My fave is the pink one, but the black is a close, and I mean close, runner up!
ANGULAR SUNGLASSES
DESIGNER OPTION:
If you’ve read some of my other posts, you probably know I am a huge fan of Prada. And these sunglasses are so fun and cute. I love the peach colored lenses. Light + fun colors are always my faves for spring and summer! These add some flair + fun into your outfits. I love wearing colored lenses with neutral outfits, like a white shirt and some black jeans. Colored lenses give the look some simple elegance and playful fun!
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
Hexagonal sunglasses (see the pic above!) are so trendy and fun to style. I love how they make my face look sharper and more mature. Add some fun prints and patterns to your outfit and set it over the top with these amazing hexagonal sunglasses that are sure to make your outfit 101%.
CIRCULAR SUNGLASSES
DESIGNER OPTION:
The classic round frame sunglasses are back with some Chanel to add the ‘classy’ into the classic. These sunglasses come in 7 different colors; my favorite is the light tortoise variant. I also love how CHANEL is displayed on the temples, which adds some ultra class, if you ask me.
AFFORDABLE OPTION:
These circular sunglasses scream circa 1970 for you vintage lovin’ readers. Quite groovy and perfect for summer, these sunnies are polarized and provide silicone nose pads + anti-slip temple tips for a better and more comfortable grip.
ECCENTRIC SUNGLASSES
My favorite part: eccentric sunglasses. These are your ultimate statement pieces. They add the fun, the interest, and the amusing look that we all need sometimes. I love how these sunglasses are gorgeous and show-stoppers.

Sage + Celine. What more could you ask for? These aren’t your average + conventional sunglasses, these are another level. They’re beautiful, bold, & such a lovely color. You also have the option to make them reading glasses for a little extra, isn’t that grand?

+ SOJOS CIRCULAR RHINESTONE SUNGLASSES:
The rhinestones in these circular sunglasses are so lively and sparkly. Think, Elton John. Got ya there, right!! I’m thinking an all-black outfit with these as a fun accessory to help my look stand out and start fun conversations. Plus! Although I’m a big fan of the multicolor diamonds, you also have multiple other shades, such as crystal, pink, blue, & black diamonds.
+ CLOUD & RAIN BLUE SUNGLASSES:
These glasses are sure to garner amazing attention and really make your outfit look bold + amazing. These glasses are rimless and come in four different colors (blue, grey (my fave), pink, & red) and to think they’re less than $15??
